PROSPECT HOMES GETS GO AHEAD FOR 99 HOMES IN WIDNES

 In News

We are pleased to share that we have secured planning consent from Halton Borough Council for 99 new homes on South Lane, Widnes.

We have been given the green light to deliver a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes that will appeal to a wide range of buyers, including 79 homes for private sale and 20 affordable homes.

Prospect’s managing director, Nigel Yates, said: “Widnes has been an area we have sought to build in for a while, and we have been searching for the right site. While the rest of our sites are located in Lancashire, Widnes is just 15 minutes from our head office in Liverpool so it’s in our ‘heartland’. Widnes offers residents a great location. They’ll have amenities and transport links on their doorstep and the site itself has a lovely outlook. Now we have planning, we are gearing up to start on site in the autumn.”

Prospect Homes will invest over £600,000 into the local community and, being part of Riverside Group, one of the UK’s leading social housing and regeneration organisation, all profits from sales of the homes at this site will be re-invested into Riverside to support their social value work.

Nigel continued: “When customers buy one of our homes, they can be proud to play a part in helping the more vulnerable people in our communities. Our ‘Homes for Good’ ethos is something everyone at Prospect is very proud of.”

Prospect is currently on site at Mitton Grange in Whalley, Bridgemere in Burscough and is down to the final homes at The Ridings in Longridge.
