PROSPECT Homes receives award for inclusivity at North West property awards.

The second annual Cowgills North West Homebuilder Awards 2023 celebrated the best of the SME property sector and we took away the award for Advocating Inclusivity.

Prospect Homes is part of The Riverside Group and as a charitable housing association, ED&I is central to what Riverside and Prospect Homes do and the judges recognised this. They were impressed with our commitment to always keeping ED&I in mind, across all levels of the business to ensure everyone receives equal treatment and opportunity.

We believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity and this commitment to colleagues and customers is cemented right through the organisation, from board and senior leadership team down to front line workers and office-based colleagues.

Head of sales, Sam Palin said: “We are thrilled to have won this award. Being inclusive is one of the company’s values which means it’s ingrained into everything we do. Most recently we have committed to improving representation of ethnic minority colleagues at manager and senior leadership levels and have implemented a guaranteed interview initiative to support this. I’m proud that we have been recognised for our work to advocate inclusivity.”

We were also shortlisted in the Larger Housing Scheme of the Year category for our development Brook View in Leigh, Greater Manchester
