PROSPECT GET ON THEIR BIKES FOR MIND

PROSPECT Homes has raised over £4,000 for mental health charity Mind after completing the 60-mile Manchester to Blackpool bike ride.

The team of five included managing director Nigel Yates, head of construction Martin Caldwell, assistant quantity surveyor Phil Wade, assistant site manager Corey Bedward and recruitment consultant James Leighton. They set out to raise £1500 for the charity but exceeded this amount by 272% and raised a total of £4,092.

Starting from The Piazza at Media City, Salford, the ride took them along country lanes all the way to the finish on the South Promenade at Blackpool. They did it in just under four and a half hours.

Managing director, Nigel Yates said: “Over the past year or so, mental health has been at the forefront of everyone’s minds and it’s charities like Mind that have been there for so many people. We wanted to give back to the charity that will have been a support system for so many during this time.”

Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They also tirelessly campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

Prospect Homes would like to extend a huge ‘Thank You’ to everyone who donated.
